Bushido, or ‘The Way of the Warrior’ is a Japanese collective term for the many codes of honor, ideals, and morals that make up the way of life of the samurai. Similar to the concept of chivalry, the Way originates from the combination of values: of sincerity, frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery, and honor until death. This sculpture represents values that Allen embraced throughout his lifetime.
