While visiting the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana, Allen had the extraordinary opportunity to watch the intriguing behavior of grizzly bears. From that point on his fascination with bears continued. He researched both their characteristics and their mythology as symbols of strength and wisdom and their association with healing and medicine.
